A fundraiser created by Nashville Paw magazine, Art for Animals is an evening of art, wine, food and fun in which 100% of proceeds benefit Pet Community Center, a 501c nonprofit spay and neuter clinic located in East Nashville. This year, Art for Animals returns to The Factory at Franklin, to take place in beautiful Liberty Hall.
Pet Community Center's vital spay and neuter programs are making a powerful difference in our community. In June 2014, Pet Community Center opened Nashville’s first low-cost spay + neuter clinic available to the general public and has already performed more than 19,000 spay + neuter surgeries, which has led to decreases of 40-50% in the number of homeless pets entering the Metro Nashville shelter. Because fewer animals are entering the shelter, euthanasia rates have plummeted from 75% in 2013 to under 15% in 2016. The spay + neuter program is transforming our community into a place where shelter pets are getting the chance they deserve at a forever home by effectively reducing animal homelessness and euthanasia.
This highly anticipated event has become one of Nashville's most popular fundraisers, offering an exciting and fun live auction of exclusive artwork, a sprawling silent auction of local gifts and experiences, plus: Open bar with a signature cocktail, dinner, dedicated seating & entertainment, and more! All proceeds benefit spay/neuter and animal saving programs at Pet Community Center.
